The place to be is the Gardens of Texarkana!! People will help you at every turn. Just ask and they come running. You don't have to be here before you start feeling you belong. The food is just wonderful, that goes for every meal! You tell them a day before and will have a spectacular meal prepared for you by the finest cooks ever. They are always smiling and happy. The Gardens is the only place for Joy and Happiness, Always! Come join us!

This is hard for me to say, but I found myself in a bad spot recently. I have COPD and use oxygen all day long. This hadn’t been a problem until this time. I had pneumonia, I was so sick that anything was impossible for me to do. I knew I had to do things differently. I told my daughter that I can’t live like this anymore. She got busy and found a great place for me to go with my own home furnishings. They provide three excellent meals a day, do my laundry, and provide a safe and clean environment for me. This place is called the Gardens, and the right place for me. We have bingo and other activities. It is living at its best. The management and staff are always available and make sure my needs are met.
Just give them a call and they will give you a tour.

The Gardens of Texarkana was a fine place. They were very explanatory and very nice; they showed us the room Mom is going to be in and everything. I didn’t have any problems with them. They will clean her room, do her laundry, help her with her bath, and feed her 3 times a day. The place is very clean and quiet. Her room is very nice, and everything looked really good.

The Gardens was a nice facility, but I don’t think it’s quite as affluent as the facility my mother-in-law is in now. There was a lot going on. The management and staff were wonderful and caring. The food was good, but my mother-in-law is from Wisconsin, so there were things she was not used to eating at first. Every week the manager sits down with the residents and they plan the menu for the whole week; they make sure that the residents will enjoy the food and also make sure that they are nutritiously balanced.

There are not enough words to say how awesome the staff is here. Everyone treated my dad (and myself) like family. He loved it from the first day. Everyone from the administrator (Deborah) to housekeeping was so nice and always willing to help with anything he needed. Doty took great care of him and my dad loved cutting up with her. My dad passed away December 11, 2019 but we have donated a Crackel Barrel rocking chair to the facility in his honor for all their loving care. God bless all of you at The Gardens and thank you for all you did for my daddy.

The rooms at The Gardens of Texarkana were excellent. They had activity rooms. It was very inviting and very well laid out. The menu looked good. They had an area for walking, and the dining room was excellent. The facilities were very good.

I came to the Gardens because I was displaced from a care facility in Sherwood AR, it had a structural fire. The minute I walked in the door; I was given a warm personal welcome from Debra the administrator. She proceeded to escort me to my room and helped me get settled in for the night.
The Gardens is an Independent/Residential Care facility. The facility is nice, clean, and quiet. The staff is courteous and friendly. Meals are made homemade every day; in fact, my family likes to eat here from time to time. Services provided are medical transportation, medication maintenance, laundry, and housekeeping and linen change once per week. Rooms come complete with cable TV services, mini frigs, and private bathroom with walk-in shower. Activities include Bingo twice a week, and exercise classes with Sonia our Marketing Director, and a monthly auction.
I am so blessed to have The Gardens as my home.

HI, I am a resident at the Gardens in Texarkana and I have been here 5 months, I have enjoyed it very much!  The Food is good and the staff are very nice, they make sure your days are pleasant.  The Gardens is a well kept place and the nicest place to call home in Texarkana!
